Moroccan cuisine – Almond Cookies

Today we bring you a delicious recipe typical Moroccan cuisine, almond cookies. They are one of the most typical desserts are quite delicious. Here we explain step by step how to prepare!

 

What do we need?

  • 90 grams of white sugar
  • 170 grams of ground almonds or almond flour
  • 35 grams of flour for baking
  • A yeast tsp
  • 1 egg
  • Glass sugar for decoration
  • 1 tsp orange blossom water

Preparation

Before we start pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees. This need the furnace quite hot when finish preparing the cookie dough.

First mix the sugar and almond flour. Once we have mixed, add the yeast and flour. In another bowl beat the eggs until they have mixed the white and yolk, once achieved, mix it with the other ingredients and add the orange flower water, which will give a touch of flavor very special.

 

Once all ingredients are well mixed and have achieved a homogeneous mass and make small balls rebozamos slightly with sugar glass for the top layer so characteristic.

The bake for about 10 minutes. We know that they are made when we see that "break" from the top. The removal from the oven and let cool ... Done! We have our delicious cookies ready to eat
